Hello!
Welcome to our website.
We are The Metatrons, a fuzzy riot-pop band from the UK.
We've been described as "Delectable skewed fuzz-pop". Another nice reviewer said "think Blondie meets Sonic Youth via My Bloody Valentine...sharp pop over a scorched earth backing..." We've also been called "a thunderous slice of majestic pop" - as you can probably imagine all these things please us.
So what and who are we? We are Polly, who sings and plays the piano, Rico who plays the bass guitar, Simon who plays the guitar and Steve who goes bang bang on the drums.
Here we will tell you about gigs that you can come and see us play, records that we have made and are making and other things that may or may not be of interest to you, such as cat-related stories, or how busy the supermarket was today.

NEW ALBUM UPDATE!
"The Ever-Present Now", our new 10-track album will be released on June 12th on vinyl, CD and digital.
Over the next two weeks we will be announcing the details of the album launch party and our UK tour dates. Watch this space!!
